Cipher is operated by Boost My Biz Ai, founded and run by Andre Thomas (“we”). Cipher is a translator app built so that your words stay on your device. This policy explains exactly what does and does not leave your iPhone.
Text translation, voice conversation (speech recognition via Apple’s on-device Speech framework), camera/photo translation (text recognition via Apple’s Vision framework), and spoken output (text-to-speech) all run on your device using Apple’s frameworks. This content is never uploaded to us or anyone else, and we never receive it.
Cipher’s custom keyboard can translate text as you type. This feature is off by default. It only works after you (1) enable “Allow Full Access” for the keyboard in iOS Settings and (2) accept a one-time in-keyboard consent. When it is on, only the specific text you are translating is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to a third-party machine-translation service so it can be translated and returned to you. We send no account, no email, no name, and no device identifier with it. The text is used only to perform that translation in real time and is not stored by us. Cloud Translate is automatically disabled in password, PIN, credit-card, email, phone, and web-address fields.
We do not create accounts, collect emails, use analytics or advertising SDKs, build profiles, or sell or share data for advertising. There is no tracking, so the app does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We never see or receive your payment-card details.
Camera, Microphone, and Speech Recognition are used only to translate what you point at or say — all processed on your device. You can revoke any permission in iOS Settings.
Cipher is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
You can turn off Cloud Translate any time (disable Allow Full Access, or decline consent). For any privacy question or request, email Info@boostmybiz.ai. This policy is governed by the laws of the United States. We will post any changes here with a new “last updated” date.
